I have a local Custom Lab that I work with, which specializes in fine art reproductions. My Art Paintings can be reproduced
with canvas, watercolor and archival photographic material.
How do we make Giclee prints?

In our Giclee printing we use Epson 9800 and Epson 7800 printers. The 9800 model uses the K3 8 color ink system to render images. Because it prints up to 2880x1440 dots per inch, it has no visible dot pattern. The produced images maintain all the tonalities and hues of the original file.
We use the industry-standard Epson K3 Ultra Chrome inks. Epson’s Ultra Chrome inks are one of the most important advances made in printing, achieving superb color expression.
The ink is formulated to be resistant to UV light and is rated to remain true for at least 70 years although, depending on the paper used, some claim it can last over 75 years.
We use Premier Art Water resistant Canvas from Epson.
Giclee's and prints processed on archival photographic paper will have a Certificate of Authenticity accompanied with Artist's original Signature.
